The aims of the Food Manufacturing Forum are to:
- provide a meeting point and mechanism for the professional development of food industry professionals;
- bring together professionals from the food manufacturing and processing industries, and associated supply industries;
- bring together the representatives of member companies from many and different professional and technical backgrounds;
- enable networking and the exchange of ideas and knowledge;
- provide expert speakers on a wide range of subjects of interest to the member companies and their representatives;
- provide master-classes and workshops for member company representatives;
- provide member company representatives with the opportunity to gain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit from their involvement;
- provide member company representatives with access to professional training and higher education opportunities tailored to both career development needs and the business needs of member companies;
- provide a range of services at special rates for member companies;
- support the Forum with a monthly newsletter.

| OBJECTIVES... |
The objectives of the Food Manufacturing Forum are to:
- hold 10 meetings a year (excluding the months of August and December);
- hold the meetings on the last Tuesday of the month, from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.;
- hold the meetings at the central location of Harper Adams University College, unless meetings at other venues are called for, e.g., visits to food businesses;
- ensure that the meetings serve as learning and professional development opportunities for members.
